About Us

Our Vision

Empowering those who will transform our society for good (2 Kings 4:5).

Our Mission

Transforming our communities through education, leadership development and life skills

Dreams are a unique gift from God. Life itself is a dream with potential. Each dream is meant to solve a problem if harnessed properly. Therefore, every God-inspired dream is worth giving the opportunity.

A dream come true …

Everything, great or small, ever accomplished started with a dream. Jars of Glory is the fulfillment of a dream which has been nurtured through years of mentoring, serving, and partnering with other organizations. We live in a dreamer’s world… every achiever was once a dreamer. However, not every dreamer is an achiever.

Our dream, their dream come true …

Study shows that half of people’s dreams die at the conceptualization phase, irrespective of the individual’s background. The number grows exponentially for people from low-income communities. Children from such backgrounds are at higher risk of resorting to despair as a result of what confronts them each day.

Jars of Glory was created to be a bridge that connects children from low-income communities to their dreams. We provide them with a safe haven to nurture, develop, and be empowered to fulfill their God-given dreams.

Our mission is to empower children and their families to have a chance at fulfilling their dreams and in turn, positively impact and influence their environment. We are not serving handouts, but a hand-up.

As we engage with our program participants, we want to help them discover how they can harness their God-given ability to be valuable contributing members of the community. It is our expectation that through active involvement in the program, those we serve will pursue further education, become skilled workers in a particular trade, or pursue entrepreneurship. We accomplish the mission by assisting program participants in establishing individualized success plans.

We are not trying to reinvent the wheel or duplicate services that are already available within the communities we serve. Hence, we partner with other organizations and like-minded individuals to accomplish our mission.
